Eat Out: Dessert Outing 2

I went on another dessert outing with a friend. That day was epic, we ate like 10 sweet things between us, one of the happiest days of my life, lol. Be ready to be sugarfied.

This was at the crown casino. If I remember correctly, this was a banana roulade. It's a swiss roll, and in the middle is a dense chocolate ganache which tasted like cookie dough.

This was a blood orange cheesecake. The cake was really light and airy, tasted like mousse.

We bought and tasted some chocolate truffles....

...and walked by this gorgeous display of cakes and tarts which stopped us in our tracks. But the line for that tea room was so long, we decided to come back another day.

Next stop was Laurent Patisserie. They have the most amazing selection of french pastries.

This was a chocolate mousse cake with a brownie cake base, very rich and very yummy.

A lighter cake compared to the first one. I chose this one because of the pretty design, haha.

The raspberry mousse inside was tart yet sweet, although the sponge was a but dry.

Lastly we went to Passionflower. We went for their speciality desserts this time.

Strawberries with strawberry ice cream, strawberry syrup and whipped cream.

This was my favourite of the day. Black sesame ice cream with sticky glutinous rice balls and crunch peanut topping. I enjoyed every bite, and was solely disappointed when there was no more left...
